While you are making jewelry keep in mind that the style, color, form and its size should be matched to the size and proportions of your body. Tall women should not wear wide bracelets, big beads and earrings. Women that are not too tall should wear tint jewelry with simple shapes, beads should be gentle and earrings created from very tin wire or chain. Selection depends on the shape of the ear and face as in the case of earrings oval face should be round in the case of a round face earrings should be long.

There is tones of books and courses about jewelry making for beginners. But on the end of the day all comes to few basic and easy to follow techniques such as: simple wire loop, wire wrapped loop or wire wrapped dangle.
Here are 8 steps on how to make wire wrapped dangle.
Material and tools: silver or silver plated wire, top-drilled bead (drop shape), round nose pliers and wire cutters.
Step 1
INSER WIRE: Cut 3 inch of the wire and stick it through the top-drilled bead. Make sure one end of the wire is a bit longer than the other one.
Step 2
FOLD THE WIRE: With about 1/8 inch through the top-drilled bead’s hole use your fingers to fold both. wires over the side of the bead so they re crossing and creating a triangle.
Step 3
BEND WIRE: Bend the longer wire and start warping it around the shorter one. Make 2 to 3 wraps.
Step 4
CUT THE WIRE: Cut of the remaining wire using your wire cutters.
Step 5
EXTRA BEAD: You can add extra bead on the top of the wraps to add more interest to the design.
Step 6
CREATE THE LOOP: Leave 1/8” gap above the bead and using the round nose pliers bend the remaining wire to 90 degree and create a loop.
Step 7
WRAP THE WIRE AROUND THE BASE: With the round nose pliers hold the loop you’ve just created and using another round nose pliers or your fingers wrap the wire around the base 2 to 3 times to make sure its secured.
Step 8
CUT EXCESS WIRE: Using the wire cutters cut off the remaining wire.
Jewelry can be easily destroyed by any type of pollution emanating from the surrounding environment as well as harmful weather. With the time, any jewelry loses its shine and appearance. To regain the luster of silver and gold jewelry wash it in a warm water with soap. After rinsing polish it with a small piece of flannel or chamois.
Another way to darkened silver chain is washing it with water with lemon. Pearls do not like to be sprayed with perfume because of their influence should be darker so assumed after their use. If a ring or necklace is set with expensive stones such as diamonds, or diamonds the best way is to clean it using professional help.
